The supporters of Ballyguin booed when Damhliag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryan Dimson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th match minute, Ballyguin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desmond Caffrey to maneuver through the defense. Gilian Mullan struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Bodibeua McWillie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Damhliag. In the 43rd match minute, Damhliag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gehan McFrank to maneuver through the defense.

Wawrzyniec Tomiczek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Leon McBrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ballyguin's goalkeeper Bodibeua McWillie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wawrzyniec Tomiczek struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Leon McBrand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballyguin. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Wawrzyniec Tomiczek took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Leon McBrand to make any attempt to save it. If Patton McWill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Braddon Rutherford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Damhliag supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ballyguin's performance. The match ended with a win for Ballyguin.
