Tate McLiam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torna Todd in the 5th minute of play. Beartlai McNamara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Tate McLiam made a huge save. Torna Todd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tate McLiam having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Beartlai McNamara notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ballintemple's Tate McLiam. Tate McLiam was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beartlai McNamara in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tate McLiam saved Ballintemple from getting behind. Pierce Ryan charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pierce Ryan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ballintemple's Pierce Ryan got a free kick in the 18th minute. Tate McLiam was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Torna Todd. The supporters of Killanigan booed when Ballintemple was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Farrell Mullan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Ballintemple defense, Beartlai McNamara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tate McLiam. The Ballintemple fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tate McLiam should have stopped the shot. Bow McPeter hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Tate McLiam was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Torna Todd capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Torna Todd really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Pierce Ryan kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match Torna Todd shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tate McLiam showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Beartlai McNamara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Tate McLiam made a huge save. Tate McLiam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tevin McJohn in the 46th minute. In the 48th match minute, Ballintemple was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brandon Deery to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bow McPeter made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Ballintemple's Brickeen McPaul got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Torna Todd didn't quite understand what happened when in the 55 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Daniel McWill made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Bow McPeter sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th minute, Beartlai McNamara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tate McLiam was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Bow McPeter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel McWill read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Ballintemple's Pierce Ryan got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Pierce Ryan off the ground. In the 76th match minute, Ballintemple was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierce Ryan to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute of the match Keely McWill sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tate McLiam skillfully saved the ball. Daniel McWill was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Brandon Deery showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 84 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torna Todd in the 88th minute of play forced Ballintemple's goalkeeper Tate McLiam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gearalt Palmer kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Beartlai McNamara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 93 in the game by Bow McPeter from a close distance when the talented Daniel McWill managed to make a qualified save. Killanigan's players were relieved. After 94 minutes, Tevin McJohn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Killanigan and the Ballintemple players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Tevin McJohn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brandon Deery might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel McWill. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brandon Deery ran back to his position shaking his head. Ballintemple's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
