Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5875, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Torna Todd took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Brendon Scully dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Daniel McWill, 1-0. The supporters of Moyvane FC booed when Killanigan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tevin McJohn didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brendon Scully got free with Daniel McWill in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brendon Scullys short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Daniel McWill to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 20 minutes into the game, Brendon Scully was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Killanigan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moyvane FC the free kick. In the 20th minute, Brendon Scully hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the game, one of Moyvane FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Barram Tracy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moyvane FC's Thom Mullan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torna Todd in the 34th minute of play. Reginald McAlphie kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Brendon Scully hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel McWill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barram Tracy in the 44th minute of play. Thom Mullan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torna Todd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a rather tough play, Killanigan's Brett McGlynn got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute, Beartlai McNamara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Killanigan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 58 minutes into the match, Moyvane FC's goal looked a bit too open when Torna Todd came free, but Thom Mullan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beartlai McNamara got free with Thom Mullan in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brendon Scully kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Killanigan's zone, Heron McBjarton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel McWill came out of the goal and Heron McBjarton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moyvane FC made a substitution. Derin Mulvihill replaced Britain Ramsey. Beartlai McNamara scored 1-3 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thom Mullan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Moyvane FC's Thom Mullan got control of the ball when Tevin McJohn tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute, Dolan Ramsey made a precise shot to the right of Daniel McWill. Killanigan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Moyvane FC's Heron McBjarton quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bardain Rogers, made in the 91st minute of the game. After having played for 92 minutes, Barram Tracy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moyvane FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barram Tracy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Killanigan had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
