When Breccan MaCollin fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballyguin's protests and gave Breccan MaCollin a yellow card for diving instead. Breccan MaCollin kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. If Rylee Hunt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Brann McWilliam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Gerard Harkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bodibeua McWillie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Brann McWilliam made a precise shot to the right of Bodibeua McWillie. Ballyguin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Ballyguin booed when forgotten Town was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bivadi MaCollin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 played minutes Ballyguin got a freekick which was hit by Desmond Caffrey. If Patton McWill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 33 minutes, Wawrzyniec Tomiczek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballyguin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wawrzyniec Tomiczek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Gerard Harkin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bodibeua McWillie. Ballyguin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerard Harkin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After the first half forgotten Town were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute, Patton McWill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wawrzyniec Tomiczek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Boynton Harkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brann McWilliam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Gerard Harkin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bodibeua McWillie. That made the score 0-3 in the 57 minute of play. Patton McWill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bivadi MaCollin's late challenge caught a Ballyguin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bivadi MaCollin helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in forgotten Town's zone, Wawrzyniec Tomiczek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boynton Harkin came out of the goal and Wawrzyniec Tomiczek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 70 played minutes forgotten Town got a freekick which was hit by Bivadi MaCollin. Bodibeua McWillie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brann McWilliam, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After a rather tough play, forgotten Town's Braddon McVictor got a free kick in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Desmond Barrett cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Bodibeua McWillie was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Breccan MaCollin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 85 minutes into the match. The supporters of forgotten Town booed when Ballyguin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breccan MaCollin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Donavon Dempsey in the 87th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Bodibeua McWillie's left hand side. In the 88th minute, Barclay McStephen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bodibeua McWillie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brann McWilliam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bodibeua McWillie made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Gerard Harkin sent off a good shot on target. Barclay McStephen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Ballyguin supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching forgotten Town's performance. The match ended with a win for forgotten Town.
