Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Brendon Scully made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 6th minute, Gilian Mullan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damhliag's Leon McBrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendon Scully in the 7th minute of play. If Barram Tracy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reginald McAlphie struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Leon McBrand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moyvane FC. In the 19th minute Brendon Scully shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon McBrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Beckett John was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Damhliag's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moyvane FC the free kick. After 19 played minutes Damhliag got a freekick which was hit by Beckett John. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Brendon Scully managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moyvane FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brendon Scully was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon McBrand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute, Dolan Ramsey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leon McBrand was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Brendon Scully sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thom Mullan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braddon Rutherford in the 33rd minute of the match. Thom Mullan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilian Mullan went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Damhliag's Leon McBrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barram Tracy in the 40th minute of play. After 42 minutes of play, Moyvane FC's Barram Tracy made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leon McBrand was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Moyvane FC's Brendon Scully in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Damhliag's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Damhliag's Beckett John got a free kick in the 46th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Damhliag's zone, Dolan Ramsey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon McBrand came out of the goal and Dolan Ramsey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Damhliag players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Moyvane FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Braddon Rutherford stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Moyvane FC's Thom Mullan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilian Mullan in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reginald McAlphie got free with Leon McBrand in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55thth minute of the game Barram Tracy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Damhliag's Leon McBrand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Beckett John was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 56th minute, Beckett John hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barram Tracy in the 57th minute of play forced Damhliag's goalkeeper Leon McBrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Damhliag's Gilian Mullan got a free kick in the 58th minute. Leon McBrand didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Moyvane FC's Dolan Ramsey shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 63rd match minute, Moyvane FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barram Tracy to maneuver through the defense. Damhliag's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Barram Tracy scored to the left of an out of position Leon McBrand, making the score, 1-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dolan Ramsey during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Damhliag booed when Moyvane FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dolan Ramsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brendon Scully sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reginald McAlphie might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leon McBrand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reginald McAlphie ran back to his position shaking his head. Comhghall Ryan kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Barram Tracy kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leon McBrand. That made the score 1-5 in the 85 minute of play. In the 89th match minute, Damhliag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donal Mulvihill to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute Dolan Ramsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon McBrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Damhliag getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Gilian Mullan hit a great ball. Leon McBrand came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Moyvane FC's Brendon Scully. But to his dismay, Brendon Scully quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Moyvane FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
