Damhliag's Gilian Mullan got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Donal Mulvihill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ダイアローグ's Flannery Todd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilian Mullan in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Damhliag's goal looked a bit too open when Keefer Day came free, but Leon McBrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon McBrand made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Gordan Moran sent off a good shot on target. Braddon Rutherford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flannery Todd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braddon Rutherford in the 25th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gordan Moran got free with Leon McBrand in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Keefer Day took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Leon McBrand to make any attempt to save it. In a very dangerous position, a player in Damhliag fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Gehan McFrank was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 35 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the game, one of Damhliag:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Baiscend Deans shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Gilian Mullan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Flannery Todd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 40 minutes, Gordan Moran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ダイアローグ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gordan Moran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilian Mullan struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Flannery Todd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Damhliag. After having played for 47 minutes, Braddon Rutherford managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Damhliag's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braddon Rutherford was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Keefer Day to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Gordan Moran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon McBrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keefer Day in the 53rd minute of play forced Damhliag's goalkeeper Leon McBrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Braddon Rutherford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flannery Todd having to interfere. Joseph Horgan struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Flannery Todd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Damhliag. In the 63rd minute Beckett John shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flannery Todd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon McBrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keefer Day, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Braddon Rutherford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Flannery Todd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Beckett John came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Damhliag fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beckett John couldn't finish the play. Braddon Rutherford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Keefer Day took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leon McBrand. Leon McBrand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Braddon Rutherford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Flannery Todd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joseph Horgan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Damhliag's Joseph Horgan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Flannery Todd. Flannery Todd yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Shane Moran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Damhliag's goal looked a bit too open when Keefer Day came free, but Leon McBrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ダイアローグ players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
