But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barclay McStephen couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the match, Ballyguin's goal looked a bit too open when Binnech Ghee came free, but Bodibeua McWillie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Binnech Ghee managed to get in a good position for a shot. Whitechurch FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Binnech Ghee was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bodibeua McWillie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th match minute, Whitechurch FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Binnech Ghee to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Patton McWill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballyguin's supporters rose to their feet, but Patton McWill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Hamilton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute Patton McWill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Hamilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dane McFrank kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Binnech Ghee made a kick off. In the 59th minute, Gordan Deans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute Barclay McStephen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Hamilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Binnech Ghee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bodibeua McWillie having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Binnech Ghee put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bodibeua McWillie. In the 76th match minute, Whitechurch FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beara Coyle to maneuver through the defense. Patton McWills short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Alexander Hamilton to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The throw-in from Dane McFrank in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Whitechurch FC's Brine Mullan. The Ballyguin players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Whitechurch FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
