The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Breccan MaCollin during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 6 played minutes Ballyguin got a freekick which was hit by Breccan MaCollin. Wawrzyniec Tomiczek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Brendan McJon made a huge save. Patton McWill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendan McJon having to interfere. Wawrzyniec Tomiczek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Brendan McJon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tinacarra Utd's Brendan McJon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Tinacarra Utd from getting a goal against them. After 21 minutes Tinacarra Utd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Barclay McStephen who took care of the corner kick. In the 24th minute Wawrzyniec Tomiczek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brendan McJon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tinacarra Utd's Brendan McJon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Tinacarra Utd from getting a goal against them. Brendan McJon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patton McWill, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Patton McWill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Wawrzyniec Tomiczek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patton McWill might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brendan McJon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patton McWill ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Berchan Caffrey to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dane McFrank during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 played minutes Ballyguin got a freekick which was hit by Dane McFrank. 1-0 became the score in the 59th minute when Wawrzyniec Tomiczek elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Wawrzyniec Tomiczek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ballyguin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Tinacarra Utd's zone, Patton McWill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brendan McJon came out of the goal and Patton McWill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patton McWill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendan McJon having to interfere. After having played for 71 minutes, Patton McWill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballyguin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patton McWill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tinacarra Utd's Berchan Caffrey got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Berchan Caffrey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Bodibeua McWillie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Banvan McSteve during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ballyguin booed when Tinacarra Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Banvan McSteve didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wawrzyniec Tomiczek struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Brendan McJon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballyguin. Bodibeua McWillie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berchan Caffrey, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Patton McWill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballyguin's supporters rose to their feet, but Patton McWill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brendan McJon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ballyguin's Wawrzyniec Tomiczek got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Barclay McStephen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
