The Doon players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guinness Athletic were winning 0-4.

Louis McWill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Louis McWill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 played minutes Louis McWill rounded Doon's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. With a little luck, Doon's Banvan Benson got control of the ball when Quinn Coyle tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80thth minute of the game Beccan Gillmour who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guinness Athletic's Lisandro Ospin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee ignored Guinness Athletic's protests and gave Louis McWill a yellow card for diving instead. Louis McWill kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Doon's goal looked a bit too open when Louis McWill came free, but Banvan Benson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Banvan Benson throw himself and got hold of the ball when Louis McWill in the 93rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 95th minute, Baydan Lester left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Doon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. When the match was over Guinness Athletic could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Doon throughout the match.
