Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bel Taylor took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Irwin McJohnny. Irwin McJohnny dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 11 played minutes Shankill got a freekick which was hit by Basil McPaul. In the 14th minute, Cacey McLaughlin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Irwin McJohnny was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 19th minute, Basil McPaul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Irwin McJohnny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cacey McLaughlin went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bel Taylor in the 25th minute of play forced Shankill's goalkeeper Irwin McJohnny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Raonall Lester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irwin McJohnny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes Shankill got a freekick which was hit by Basil McPaul. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eoghan Lavine in the 33rd minute of play forced Shankill's goalkeeper Irwin McJohnny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Bel Taylor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Irwin McJohnny. Shankill's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bel Taylor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Irwin McJohnny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eoghan Lavine in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Raleagh AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Basil McPaul came free, but Bantry Prunty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eoghan Lavine made a kick off. Cacey McLaughlin came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Irwin McJohnny could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Raleagh AFC's Raonall Lester got a free kick in the 58th minute. Louie Morrison hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Shankill's Saoirse McStephen got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With 75 minutes on the clock, Pearce Johnson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. When the match had been going on for 76 minutes, Raleagh AFC's Dennis McTom got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Irwin McJohnny. Irwin McJohnny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bel Taylor in the 79th minute of the match. The supporters of Shankill booed when Raleagh AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eoghan Lavine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Irwin McJohnny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raonall Lester in the 88th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giles Hunt during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute, Giles Hunt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
