Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Beatty Ramsey made the kick off which started today's match. Ciarán McCollion charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciarán McCollion the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th match minute, Knocktemple FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciarán McCollion to maneuver through the defense. Boyle McJohn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beatty Ramsey's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cullan Prunty got free with Bell Colwell in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tiarnan McJohnny's late challenge caught a Knocktemple FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiarnan McJohnny helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Attinkee booed when Knocktemple FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cullan Prunty didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Beatty Ramsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Attinkee's Tiarnan McJohnny got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Bras Willson fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Attinkee's protests and gave Bras Willson a yellow card for diving instead. Bras Willson kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Tiarnan McJohnny threw the ball into play from the sideline. Knocktemple FC's Cullan Prunty quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dewain Tracy was the one to do the kick off. Ciarán McCollion scored 1-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bell Colwell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cullan Prunty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Bell Colwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Knocktemple FC's Ciarán McCollion got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Knocktemple FC's Boyle McJohn got control of the ball when Beatty Ramsey tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tiarnan McJohnny made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Knocktemple FC's Dolan McBrandon. The throw-in from Tiarnan McJohnny in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Knocktemple FC's Dolan McBrandon. Bell Colwell came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Knocktemple FC's Duff Sheridan. But to his dismay, Duff Sheridan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 85 minutes in the game Dolan McBrandon did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Breannain Ramsey. A sloppy throw-in by Gaynor McMichel in the 86th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Knocktemple FC's Dolan McBrandon. Dewain Tracy fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 90th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cahir Dunne in the 94th minute of play forced Knocktemple FC's goalkeeper Boyle McJohn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
