Knocktemple FC's attentive Dolan McBrandon managed to snatch the ball when Lee Dempsey made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. After 17 minutes of play, Knocktemple FC's Cullan Prunty made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harrigan Grant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paul McJohnny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Boyle McJohn made a huge save. If Dewain Tracy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Reagan McNamara in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Knocktemple FC's Dolan McBrandon. Lee Dempsey charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lee Dempsey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, Bunnanaddan Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lee Dempsey to maneuver through the defense. Knocktemple FC's Dolan McBrandon managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Quinn Hamilton in the 42 minute of the game. When Reagan McNamara fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bunnanaddan Utd's protests and gave Reagan McNamara a yellow card for diving instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paul McJohnny made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Cullan Prunty managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knocktemple FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cullan Prunty was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 56 minutes into the game, Bairthmead Harkin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bunnanaddan Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Knocktemple FC the free kick. Bairthmead Harkin hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Paul McJohnny got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Cullan Prunty notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Bunnanaddan Utd's Harrigan Grant. Harrigan Grant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dolan McBrandon kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 79th minute, but Harrigan Grant got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Bunnanaddan Utd hanging dry this time. 82 minutes into the game, Daniel Lavine threw the ball into play from the sideline. Knocktemple FC's Cullan Prunty quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 86 played minutes Bunnanaddan Utd got a freekick which was hit by Paul McJohnny. Knocktemple FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
