Braydon McFrank made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Tierney McJon sent off a good shot on target. The long shot by Lee McJohn in the 7th minute really tested Braydon McFrank's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Breed Hughes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rownun Murphy having to interfere. Tierney McJon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Braydon McFrank when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tierney McJon in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Braydon McFrank, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 26 minutes into the match, Dermod McCready had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Braydon McFrank. Luska Utd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dermod McCready was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to Coolmannan getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Brendanus MaCollin hit a great ball. Breed Hughes scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rownun Murphy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Braydon McFrank took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dermod McCready, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dermod McCready was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th match minute, Luska Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barram Hutton to maneuver through the defense. Braydon McFrank showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dermod McCready, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 63 played minutes Coolmannan got a freekick which was hit by Tierney McJon. 66 minutes into the game, Breed Hughes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rownun Murphy. Breed Hughes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Luska Utd's Braydon McFrank played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tierney McJon in the 71st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barram Hutton during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Barram Hutton hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Tierney McJon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Braydon McFrank read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Coolmannan's goalkeeper Rownun Murphy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Breed Hughes. 79 minutes into the game, Brendanus MaCollin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coolmannan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luska Utd the free kick. Brendanus MaCollin was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Coolmannan getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Brendanus MaCollin hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Breed Hughes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tierney McJon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Tierney McJon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braydon McFrank saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Coolmannan supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Luska Utd's performance. The match ended with a win for Luska Utd.
