Bairee Dalton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With 13 minutes on the clock, Kyle McFrancise commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Attinkee:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Clarina AFC:s goal. Terence Coyle shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Bearnard McJon kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiarnan McJohnny in the 32nd minute of play forced Clarina AFC's goalkeeper Bairee Dalton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Cahir Dunne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bairee Dalton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Clarina AFC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Britain Morrison hit a great ball. Tiarnan McJohnny blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bairee Dalton having to make a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Terence Coyle to strike the kick off in the second half. Bearnard McJon kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Attinkee's Cahir Dunne got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bairee Dalton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiarnan McJohnny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Torna Mullan fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Attinkee's protests and gave Torna Mullan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Clarina AFC booed when Attinkee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torna Mullan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 played minutes Clarina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bearnard McJon. Bras Willson's late challenge caught a Clarina AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bras Willson helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derry McDonald in the 73rd minute of play forced Attinkee's goalkeeper Bell Colwell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Attinkee's goalkeeper Bell Colwell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tiarnan McJohnny blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bairee Dalton having to make a save.
