Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ahmet Haşim Soyuer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute, Ahmet Haşim Soyuer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Clarina AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Haşim Soyuer came free, but Bairee Dalton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Torran McNamee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clarina AFC's Bairee Dalton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Haşim Soyuer in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Green Trees was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caimin Duggan to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute of the match Terence Coyle sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dennis Walker skillfully saved the ball. Bairee Dalton came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Green Trees's Ahmet Haşim Soyuer. But to his dismay, Ahmet Haşim Soyuer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Torran McNamee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Green Trees booed when Clarina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Suibhne McWilliam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Terence Coyle hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terence Coyle in the 42nd minute of play forced Green Trees's goalkeeper Dennis Walker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 49 minutes, Suibhne McSteve mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clarina AFC and the Green Trees players grew even worse after the yellow card. After the first half Green Trees were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Terence Coyle made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Suibhne McWilliam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Torran McNamee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Haşim Soyuer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bairee Dalton firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Suibhne McSteve was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. With a little luck, Clarina AFC's Bairee Dalton got control of the ball when Ahmet Haşim Soyuer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bairee Dalton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torran McNamee in the 82nd minute of play. In the 90th minute, Torran McNamee got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Derry McDonald might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dennis Walker. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Derry McDonald ran back to his position shaking his head. The Clarina AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Green Trees were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
