Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Paul McJohnny made the kick off and thus started the match. After 3 played minutes Irishtown got a freekick which was hit by Donall Cronin. In the 7th minute Bivadas Matthews shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harrigan Grant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Irishtown getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Breanainn Ghee hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Bunnanaddan Utd's Paul McJohnny dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Harrigan Grant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donall Cronin in the 16th minute of play. After 18 minutes of play, Irishtown's Bivadas Matthews made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harrigan Grant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bunnanaddan Utd's Paul McJohnny got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Irishtown's Nollaig Benson got control of the ball when Paul McJohnny tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute, Ciarán McCready hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nollaig Benson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Benjamin Hutton. In the 38th minute, Breanainn Ghee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Paul McJohnny got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donall Cronin kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Paul McJohnny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bunnanaddan Utd's Harrigan Grant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donall Cronin in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donall Cronin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Bairthmead Harkin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bunnanaddan Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Paul McJohnny hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. A collision led to Irishtown getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Breanainn Ghee hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the game, Bivadas Matthews cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Harrigan Grant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reagan McNamara kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Bivadas Matthews succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-4 in the 71st playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul McJohnny in the 74th minute of play forced Irishtown's goalkeeper Nollaig Benson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bunnanaddan Utd's zone, Donall Cronin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harrigan Grant came out of the goal and Donall Cronin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute, Irishtown's Rowe Coyle dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. The audience was convinced that Paul McJohnny's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nollaig Benson was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Irishtown's Breanainn Ghee got a free kick in the 89th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Paul McJohnny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bunnanaddan Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul McJohnny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 96 played minutes Irishtown got a freekick which was hit by Donall Cronin. The Bunnanaddan Utd fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Irishtown were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
