Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Donall Cronin kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Attinkee's Tiarnan McJohnny got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Attinkee's Bell Colwell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donall Cronin in the 10th minute of play. Attinkee's Beatty Ramsey got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Irishtown's Donall Cronin got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 18 played minutes Irishtown got a freekick which was hit by Breanainn Ghee. After having played for 19 minutes, Beatty Ramsey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Attinkee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beatty Ramsey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Renny McJohn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Donall Cronin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the game, Bivadas Matthews recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bell Colwell. Bivadas Matthews showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Donall Cronin hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. A collision led to Attinkee getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Renny McJohn hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Attinkee's goal looked a bit too open when Donall Cronin came free, but Bell Colwell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Donall Cronin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bell Colwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Breanainn Ghee got his second yellow card in the match during the 39th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 40th match minute, Irishtown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breanainn Ghee to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute Beatty Ramsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nollaig Benson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beatty Ramsey was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Irishtown's Nollaig Benson got control of the ball when Beatty Ramsey tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bell Colwell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bivadas Matthews, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beatty Ramsey got free with Nollaig Benson in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute, Bivadas Matthews ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bell Colwell was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 75 minutes into the game, Bras Willson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Attinkee's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Irishtown the free kick. Artur Kelly charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artur Kelly the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Irishtown's Artur Kelly got a free kick in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bivadas Matthews in the 89th minute of play forced Attinkee's goalkeeper Bell Colwell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bell Colwell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bivadas Matthews went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Irishtown had played much better football throughout.
