In the 35th minute, Bradaigh Beckett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Luska Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Bairrionn McCready came free, but Braydon McFrank reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Haşim Soyuer to strike the kick off in the second half. Nollaig McCollion charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nollaig McCollion the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Tevin Prunty fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Green Trees's protests and gave Tevin Prunty a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Green Trees's Tevin Prunty got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute Torran McNamee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braydon McFrank saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sean Lavine got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 77 minutes into the game, Luska Utd's Breed Hughes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dennis Walker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Braydon McFrank took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Haşim Soyuer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Haşim Soyuer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ahmet Haşim Soyuer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
