Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Breed Hughes got the match started through his kick off. Irwin McJohnny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradaigh Beckett in the 9th minute of play. Bradaigh Beckett kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes Shankill got a freekick which was hit by Louie Morrison. The throw-in from Beamard McNamee in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Shankill's Louie Morrison. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saoirse McStephen in the 27th minute of play forced Luska Utd's goalkeeper Braydon McFrank to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Louie Morrison's late challenge caught a Luska Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Louie Morrison helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Louie Morrison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 played minutes, Luska Utd's Breccan Delaney shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Irwin McJohnny came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Luska Utd reached it. After 34 minutes of play Shankill's Louie Morrison was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 35th minute, Louie Morrison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Gehan Moran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Luska Utd's Breed Hughes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Irwin McJohnny. Irwin McJohnny yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 40 played minutes Shankill got a freekick which was hit by Brennan Byrne.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saoirse McStephen made a kick off. Luska Utd's Braydon McFrank proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Luska Utd from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Luska Utd getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Bearnard Frankson hit a great ball. Saoirse McStephen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bradaigh Beckett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Shankill's Gehan Moran got a free kick in the 79th minute. Irwin McJohnny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bradaigh Beckett, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Shankill players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Luska Utd.
