When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Terence Coyle made a kick off. Bivadas Matthews could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Bairee Dalton made a huge save. 57 minutes into the match, Clarina AFC's goalkeeper Bairee Dalton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bivadas Matthews. Harkin Brennan kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. With a little luck, Clarina AFC's Bairee Dalton got control of the ball when Bivadas Matthews tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terence Coyle in the 81st minute of play forced Irishtown's goalkeeper Nollaig Benson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Suibhne McWilliam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Irishtown's Donall Cronin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. After 89 played minutes Clarina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lee Ramsey. Bairee Dalton made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Bivadas Matthews sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd match minute, Clarina AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Suibhne McWilliam to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Bivadas Matthews left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Irishtown fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Irishtown played a much better game than Clarina AFC and deserved their victory. The Clarina AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
