Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 6 played minutes Tralee got a freekick which was hit by Baird Jameson. Baird Jameson charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baird Jameson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Tralee's Blaire Byrne got control of the ball when Paul McJohnny tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paul McJohnny got free with Blaire Byrne in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abbot Myler in the 26th minute of play forced Bunnanaddan Utd's goalkeeper Harrigan Grant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harrigan Grant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rowe Kirby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Tralee getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Rowe Kirby hit a great ball. Harrigan Grant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abbot Myler in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Caimin McBrand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Paul McJohnny made a precise shot to the right of Blaire Byrne. Tralee's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Rowe Kirby scored 1-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Harrigan Grant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Abbot Myler made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Bunnanaddan Utd's Bairthmead Harkin got a free kick in the 51st minute. Harrigan Grant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rowe Kirby in the 64th minute of play. Bunnanaddan Utd's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Baird Jameson scored to the left of an out of position Harrigan Grant, making the score, 1-2. Quinn Hamilton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harrigan Grant made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Abbot Myler sent off a good shot on target. Harrigan Grant was a little too slow when Rowe Kirby got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Bunnanaddan Utd's zone, Baird Jameson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harrigan Grant came out of the goal and Baird Jameson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tralee's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
