Dennis Walker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duff Sheridan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After recieving a nice pass, Green Trees's Bradigan Caffey tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Haşim Soyuer to make the kick off. After 64 minutes, Duff Sheridan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Knocktemple FC and the Green Trees players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice moves Dewain Tracy could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Dennis Walker however easily saved by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dewain Tracy during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Knocktemple FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dewain Tracy to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Green Trees's Torran McNamee got a free kick in the 89th minute.
