Dermod McCready started the match with the kick off. In the 12th match minute, Coolmannan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brendanus MaCollin to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Shankill getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Artt McTom hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Shankill's goal looked a bit too open when Beacan Sheridan came free, but Irwin McJohnny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Irwin McJohnny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brendanus MaCollin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gehan Moran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Irwin McJohnny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dermod McCready in the 24th minute of the match. Shankill's Irwin McJohnny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dermod McCready in the 28th minute of play. Irwin McJohnny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dermod McCready, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

A collision led to Shankill getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Saoirse McStephen hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Shankill fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! Tierney McJon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Irwin McJohnny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dermod McCready in the 64th minute of play forced Shankill's goalkeeper Irwin McJohnny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Louie Morrison fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Shankill's protests and gave Louie Morrison a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Coolmannan booed when Shankill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Louie Morrison didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Irwin McJohnny successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Basil McPaul fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Shankill's protests and gave Basil McPaul a yellow card for diving instead. Basil McPaul kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 75 minutes into the game, Dermod McCready recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Irwin McJohnny. Dermod McCready showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Irwin McJohnny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dermod McCready, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Irwin McJohnny was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Brendanus MaCollin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Brendanus MaCollin really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. With a little luck, Shankill's Irwin McJohnny got control of the ball when Beacan Sheridan tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Louie Morrison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 94 minutes, Tierney McJon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coolmannan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tierney McJon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Coolmannan played a much better game than Shankill and deserved their victory. The Shankill players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
