Spectators: 8343 (Terracing: 6363, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 140) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bellaghy McIan started the match with the kick off. With an all-out effort, Tullow FC's Brefni Deans threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Berke Beckett, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bellaghy McIan struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Seoirse Matthews didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drumnasade AFC. Taveon Caffey charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Taveon Caffey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Drumnasade AFC booed when Tullow FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taveon Caffey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Drumnasade AFC's Toren Hamilton got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Dudu Cardozo made a precise shot to the right of Brefni Deans. Drumnasade AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Brefni Deans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berke Beckett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Seoirse Matthews made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toren Hamilton in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Taveon Caffey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brefni Deans was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toren Hamilton in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Seoirse Matthews saved Tullow FC from getting behind. Bellaghy McIan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Berke Beckett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 54th minute, Toren Hamilton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Drumnasade AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Drumnasade AFC's Brefni Deans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Austin Bayes in the 58th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bressal Coyle during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Drumnasade AFC's Bressal Coyle got a free kick in the 59th minute. Drumnasade AFC's Brefni Deans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berke Beckett in the 62nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bellaghy McIan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Seoirse Matthews was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Bellaghy McIan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Seoirse Matthews tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toren Hamilton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th match minute, Tullow FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ultan Duggan to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 73 minutes, Berke Beckett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tullow FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berke Beckett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Drumnasade AFC's Brefni Cooney got a free kick in the 74th minute. Brefni Deans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berke Beckett in the 77th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Drumnasade AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Taveon Caffey came free, but Brefni Deans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dudu Cardozo took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brefni Deans. Brefni Deans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Toren Hamiltons short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Seoirse Matthews to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 89 minutes into the match, Bellaghy McIan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Seoirse Matthews. Tullow FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bellaghy McIan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Dudu Cardozo took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brefni Deans. Brefni Deans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Tullow FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Drumnasade AFC for a fine match.
