In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Geisill FC's goalkeeper Aengus Willson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Doonsheane AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Turlough Hutton came free, but Rowe Doyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Doonsheane AFC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Brogan Savic hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Bat McWilliam left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Geisill FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 26 minutes into the game, Brogan Savic cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Aengus Willson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Geisill FC's Aengus Willson got control of the ball when Ryleigh McFrank tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beglan McJohnny hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Rowe Doyle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bat McWilliam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barran Lavine during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 42 minutes into the match, Geisill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Beglan McJohnny came free, but Aengus Willson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Doonsheane AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bourns McJohnny to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Doonsheane AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Turlough Hutton came free, but Rowe Doyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Turlough Hutton in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rowe Doyle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After a rather tough play, Geisill FC's Barran Lavine got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Aengus Willson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brenden McIan, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, Ryleigh McFrank made a precise shot to the right of Aengus Willson. Geisill FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Jeremiah Barrett made in the 61st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Geisill FC's Tiarnan McAaron. Brogan Savic got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ryleigh McFrank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86thth minute of the game Turlough Hutton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Doonsheane AFC's Rowe Doyle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Doonsheane AFC booed when Geisill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bren McSteve didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aengus Willson came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Doonsheane AFC's Ryleigh McFrank. But to his dismay, Ryleigh McFrank quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Turlough Hutton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doonsheane AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
