Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Keely Martyn started the match with the kick off. Clontoe's Bow McPhil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beara McTom in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute Donal McBrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bow McPhil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Torna Hunt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bow McPhil was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Clontoe's attentive Bricin Gough managed to snatch the ball when Phillip McIan made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Keely Martyn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clontoe's supporters rose to their feet, but Keely Martyn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dewayne Callaghan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bow McPhil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beara McTom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Aghavas's zone, Keely Martyn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dewayne Callaghan came out of the goal and Keely Martyn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Aghavas's Pearson Doherty got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Aghavas's goalkeeper Dewayne Callaghan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Clontoe's goal looked a bit too open when Torna Hunt came free, but Bow McPhil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bow McPhil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beara McTom in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Aghavas booed when Clontoe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Riley Costello didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Aghavas's Phillip McIan tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Donal McBrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bow McPhil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bow McPhil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torna Hunt in the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Donal McBrand cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bow McPhil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Riley Costello kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Torna Hunt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bow McPhil. Clontoe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torna Hunt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 45th minute, Pearson Doherty left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aghavas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Beara McTom made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Blair Lavine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bow McPhil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Torna Hunt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Donal McBrand took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Bow McPhil to make any attempt to save it. Keely Martyn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute, Keely Martyn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dewayne Callaghan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donal McBrand during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Aghavas's Donal McBrand got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 79thth minute of the game Keely Martyn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aghavas's Dewayne Callaghan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Pearson Doherty was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aghavas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clontoe the free kick. In the 79th minute, Pearson Doherty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Keely Martyn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bow McPhil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torna Hunt in the 86th minute. Bow McPhil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beara McTom in the 87th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Keely Martyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dewayne Callaghan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Clontoe's Bow McPhil got control of the ball when Torna Hunt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96th minute, Donal McBrand reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bow McPhil. The goal made the score 1-6. Aghavas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
