In the 4th minute, Daithi Doyle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aspire Alligators Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 9 played minutes Aspire Alligators Academy got a freekick which was hit by Garrett McFrank. After 11 minutes, Tomás McDonald mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aspire Alligators Academy and the Geisill FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute, Tomás McDonald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bat McWilliam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Bat McWilliam put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jack McAlphie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turlough Hutton in the 29th minute of play forced Aspire Alligators Academy's goalkeeper Jack McAlphie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Geisill FC's Bat McWilliam sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jack McAlphie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Daithi Doyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bat McWilliam who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Jack McAlphie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aspire Alligators Academy's Jack McAlphie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Aspire Alligators Academy from getting a goal against them. Bat McWilliam kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 48thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Aspire Alligators Academy's keeper Jack McAlphie was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

In the 53rd minute Bat McWilliam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack McAlphie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aengus Willson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breasal Gillmour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bard Caffey hit a great ball. Jarlath Dempsey made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Geisill FC's Tiarnan McAaron. Jack McAlphie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turlough Hutton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bat McWilliam struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Jack McAlphie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geisill FC. In the 81stth minute of the game Turlough Hutton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aspire Alligators Academy's Jack McAlphie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Carrigan Dimson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Turlough Hutton in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jack McAlphie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Aspire Alligators Academy defense, Bat McWilliam kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jack McAlphie. The Aspire Alligators Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jack McAlphie should have stopped the shot. The Aspire Alligators Academy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Aspire Alligators Academy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
