Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Brenden McIan got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brenden McIan in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jack McAlphie saved Aspire Alligators Academy from getting behind. Daithi Doyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rowe Doyle having to interfere. In the 8th match minute, Doonsheane AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beglan McJohnny to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, Brogan Savic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bec McGlenn, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Breasal Gillmour had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rowe Doyle. Doonsheane AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Breasal Gillmour was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 23rd play minutes Breasal Gillmour shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Rowe Doyle and just under the crossbar into goal. Daithi Doyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Rowe Doyle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Breasal Gillmour came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Aspire Alligators Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Breasal Gillmour couldn't finish the play. Breasal Gillmour blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rowe Doyle having to make a save. Breasal Gillmour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Rowe Doyle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th match minute, Doonsheane AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brogan Savic to maneuver through the defense. When Breasal Gillmour came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Aspire Alligators Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Breasal Gillmour couldn't finish the play. Rowe Doyle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breasal Gillmour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doonsheane AFC's Rowe Doyle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breasal Gillmour in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Doonsheane AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Breasal Gillmour came free, but Rowe Doyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brenden McIan struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Jack McAlphie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Doonsheane AFC. After the first half Aspire Alligators Academy were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Breasal Gillmour to make the kick off. Aspire Alligators Academy's Jack McAlphie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryleigh McFrank in the 53rd minute of play. After 59 played minutes Doonsheane AFC got a freekick which was hit by Brogan Savic. Aspire Alligators Academy's Breasal Gillmour got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Breasal Gillmour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Breasal Gillmour's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rowe Doyle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Doonsheane AFC's Beglan McJohnny got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Brenden McIan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rowe Doyle acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 69th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Bec McGlenn. Daithi Doyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Rowe Doyle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Aspire Alligators Academy's Breasal Gillmour sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rowe Doyle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Garrett McFrank during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Doonsheane AFC booed when Aspire Alligators Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garrett McFrank didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ryleigh McFrank struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Jack McAlphie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Doonsheane AFC. Jeremiah Morrison hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomás McDonald during the 87th minute. After 95 played minutes Aspire Alligators Academy got a freekick which was hit by Tomás McDonald. The Aspire Alligators Academy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Aspire Alligators Academy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
