Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Balor McWillie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breannain Gallagher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 played minutes Killanly got a freekick which was hit by Cleary McJohnny. After some careless play in the Eskerboy defense, Balor McWillie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Breannain Gallagher. The Eskerboy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Breannain Gallagher should have stopped the shot. Gill Savic hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Balor McWillie might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Breannain Gallagher. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Balor McWillie ran back to his position shaking his head. Breannain Gallagher was a little too slow when Balor McWillie got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 25th minute, Balor McWillie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Breannain Gallagher was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Gordan Coyle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timothy Prunty, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Killanly's Balor McWillie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Breannain Gallagher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. A hard shot 37 in the game by Balor McWillie from a close distance when the talented Breannain Gallagher managed to make a qualified save. Eskerboy's players were relieved. When Brayden Dimson came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Killanly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brayden Dimson couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Balor McWillie made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Killanly's Balor McWillie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Breannain Gallagher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Balor McWillie in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Breannain Gallagher saved Eskerboy from getting behind. In the 64th match minute, Killanly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Finbar Kirby to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Desmond Benson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Breannain Gallagher didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Balor McWillie went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Balor McWillie kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. If Rowen Brennan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Killanly's Balor McWillie got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 88th minute, Brannon John hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute of the match Brayden Dimson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Breannain Gallagher showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Balor McWillie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brayden Dimson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breannain Gallagher having to interfere. Eskerboy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
