Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Balor McWillie took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes of play, Caherlane's Breck Mulvihill made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gordan Coyle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gill Savic kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Breck Mulvihill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caherlane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breck Mulvihill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th match minute, Killanly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petran Rogers to maneuver through the defense. Gordan Coyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rorry Perth in the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Balor McWillie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Leonard Lester was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 27 minutes into the match, Killanly's goal looked a bit too open when Breck Mulvihill came free, but Gordan Coyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Killanly's zone, Breck Mulvihill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gordan Coyle came out of the goal and Breck Mulvihill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gordan Coyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bhrighde McLaughlin in the 35th minute of the match. Gordan Coyle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breck Mulvihill, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Gordan Coyle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dillon Scully went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dillon Scully stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gordan Coyle was a little too slow when Dillon Scully got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 2-3. The supporters of Caherlane booed when Killanly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petran Rogers didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rorry Perth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balor McWillie hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Breck Mulvihill got free with Gordan Coyle in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Killanly getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Petran Rogers hit a great ball. In the 72nd match minute, Killanly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petran Rogers to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Rorry Perth kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gordan Coyle. That made the score 2-4 in the 73 minute of play. A collision led to Killanly getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Rowen Brennan hit a great ball. The supporters of Killanly booed when Caherlane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theobald McTommy didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Brayden Dimson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Killanly's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caherlane the free kick. Killanly's Gordan Coyle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rorry Perth in the 97th minute of play. The Killanly fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Caherlane were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
