Rusheens's Bairrionn Callaghan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bhrighde McLaughlin in the 89th minute of play. Bairrionn Callaghan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Breck Mulvihill went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Caherlane were the better team. Caherlane's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
