Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the game, Breannain Walker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Blamhac McGlynn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacey Gillmour in the 7th minute of play forced Branchfield's goalkeeper Branigan Ghee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Cacey Gillmour had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Branigan Ghee. Branchfield's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cacey Gillmour was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Blamhac McGlynn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bhrighde Gollogley in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Durrus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dermod Costello to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th play minute Breannain Walker came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Blamhac McGlynn. 2-1. Branigan Ghee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Buach Lester, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Gill Ghee took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Blamhac McGlynn to make any attempt to save it. In the 33rd match minute, Durrus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boroimhe Matthews to maneuver through the defense. Blamhac McGlynn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Breannain Walker in the 35th minute. Breannain Walker scored 5-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blamhac McGlynn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Branigan Ghee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Gollogley, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Gill Ghee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gill Ghee stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Branchfield's zone, Cacey Gillmour stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Branigan Ghee came out of the goal and Cacey Gillmour tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 54 minutes, Dermod Costello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Durrus and the Branchfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Gill Ghee came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Branchfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gill Ghee couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gill Ghee in the 66th minute of play forced Durrus's goalkeeper Blamhac McGlynn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Branchfield booed when Durrus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Comhghall McJohnny didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute Gill Ghee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blamhac McGlynn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Durrus's Branigan Ghee threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cacey Gillmour, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bhrighde Gollogley during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bhrighde Gollogley hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute of the match Buach Lester shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Branigan Ghee showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The throw-in from Samuel Grant in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Branchfield's Bhrighde Gollogley. 92 minutes into the match, Durrus's goal looked a bit too open when Gill Ghee came free, but Blamhac McGlynn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Branchfield players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
