Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Donncha McCollion kicked off to start the match. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dolan McAaron helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cornamona getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Dolan McAaron hit a great ball. Barley McPaul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, Cullan McAlphie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Blathma Dimson. Ballyconry's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cullan McAlphie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience was convinced that Donncha McCollion's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blathma Dimson was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Timmons Duggan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blathma Dimson having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Ballyconry got a freekick which was hit by Barley McPaul. Ballyconry's Blathma Dimson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donncha McCollion in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Barley McPaul fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 43rd minute, Cornamona's Samuel Quinnless seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Samuel Quinnless the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cornamona protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Samuel Quinnless had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 43rd minute, one of Cornamona:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cornamona. Barley McPaul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comhghall Quinnless having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Braon McFrancise to make the kick off. A collision led to Ballyconry getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Joseph Hunt hit a great ball. When Timmons Duggan came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Cornamona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timmons Duggan couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braon McFrancise in the 66th minute of play forced Cornamona's goalkeeper Comhghall Quinnless to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beothach McJames charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beothach McJames the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th match minute, Cornamona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beothach McJames to maneuver through the defense. Cornamona's Comhghall Quinnless played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barley McPaul in the 68th minute of play. Donavan Hunt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Blathma Dimson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Braon McFrancise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Comhghall Quinnless tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beothach McJames kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The Cornamona players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ballyconry from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
