After 15 played minutes Celbridge FC got a freekick which was hit by Braon Quinnless. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denny McLiam got free with Caimin McMichel in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute, Boyle McBrandon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Riley McWilliam was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denny McLiam got free with Caimin McMichel in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Pawd Frankson came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Celbridge FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pawd Frankson couldn't finish the play. Dublinworthy United FC's Riley McWilliam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawd Frankson in the 30th minute of play. After 32 minutes, Bil Savic mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dublinworthy United FC and the Celbridge FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Dublinworthy United FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Bil Savic hit a great ball. If Braon Quinnless had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pawd Frankson was the one to do the kick off. When Bil Savic came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Dublinworthy United FC fans jumped to their feet. After a rather tough play, Celbridge FC's Dermot Hamilton got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 60 minutes of play, Celbridge FC's Rownun Hunt made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Riley McWilliam was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rownun Hunt took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Riley McWilliam. Riley McWilliam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Bil Savic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caimin McMichel having to interfere. Rownun Hunt in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Riley McWilliam, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 76 minutes into the match, Dublinworthy United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Braon Quinnless came free, but Riley McWilliam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bil Savic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danann Frankson in the 85th minute of play forced Celbridge FC's goalkeeper Caimin McMichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dublinworthy United FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Timothy Rutherford in the 87th minute. Braon Quinnless kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Belock McLian hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Celbridge FC's Rownun Hunt got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute Denny McLiam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caimin McMichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute of the match Dublinworthy United FC got a corner. Celbridge FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Timothy Rutherford ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dublinworthy United FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Timothy Rutherford in the 98th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Dublinworthy United FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
