Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paudraig McPhilip started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Tyrone Taylor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Finbar Holt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 played minutes Quinsborough Utd got a freekick which was hit by Austin Crowe. Austin Cassin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Quinsborough Utd's Finbar Holt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dane Mullan in the 12th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dane Mullan got free with Finbar Holt in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kyle McVictor kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Kyle McVictor's late challenge caught a Shanboe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kyle McVictor helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes Quinsborough Utd got a freekick which was hit by Kyle McVictor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dane Mullan in the 32nd minute of play forced Quinsborough Utd's goalkeeper Finbar Holt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Quinsborough Utd getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Harley McTom hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Austin Crowe during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Austin Cassins short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Finbar Holt to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Quinsborough Utd's Finbar Holt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tyrone Taylor in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of Shanboe booed when Quinsborough Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyle McVictor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Dane Mullan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shanboe's Kain Hughes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricard McDecland in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Tyrone Taylor made the kick off in the second half. When Paudraig McPhilip fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quinsborough Utd's protests and gave Paudraig McPhilip a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd match minute, Quinsborough Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paudraig McPhilip to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the match, Quinsborough Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Rollin Ferguson came free, but Finbar Holt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paudraig McPhilip kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Kain Hughes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harley McTom, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Shanboe's Dane Mullan got a free kick in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Quinsborough Utd getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Austin Crowe hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Austin Crowe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Finbar Holt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyrone Taylor in the 74th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tyrone Taylor in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Finbar Holt saved Quinsborough Utd from getting behind. Harley McTom hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Finbar Holt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Austin Cassin in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Shanboe's Tyrone Taylor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Finbar Holt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. During the 85th minute of the match Paudraig McPhilip completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Paudraig McPhilip a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Shanboe booed when Quinsborough Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paudraig McPhilip didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brakawn Cassin during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Brakawn Cassin kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Shanboe were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Quinsborough Utd for a fine match.
