The supporters of Portleen FC booed when Dublinworthy United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bil Savic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Portleen FC's Colmcille Frankson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timothy Rutherford in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brennon McIan in the 30th minute of play forced Dublinworthy United FC's goalkeeper Riley McWilliam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Portleen FC's Brennon McIan got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Dublinworthy United FC's goalkeeper Riley McWilliam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pearse Beckett. Coileán McLiam was extremely unlucky when he, in the 93rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
