Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cloonaquin's Bradain McCready played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard McAaron in the 3rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bernard McAaron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bradain McCready was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. A collision led to Cloonaquin getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Harley Silke hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Cloonaquin defense, Bernard McAaron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bradain McCready. The Cloonaquin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bradain McCready should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the game, Carrigane's Breffni Barrett nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bradain McCready made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 30 minutes into the match, Breffni Barrett had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bradain McCready. Cloonaquin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Breffni Barrett was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Bradain McCready didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Breffni Barrett went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Obielumani Kowalski hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Breffni Barrett took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bradain McCready. Bradain McCready dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Bernard McAaron scored 0-6 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bradain McCready, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

In the 55th match minute, Carrigane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theodore McCollion to maneuver through the defense. Pauric McTom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Begg Dimson kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard McAaron in the 61st minute of play forced Cloonaquin's goalkeeper Bradain McCready to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bradain McCready made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernard McAaron in the 62nd minute of play. In the 69th minute, Carrigane's Breffni Barrett ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bradain McCready. Bradain McCready yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Fergus Morrison charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fergus Morrison the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd minute, Fergus Morrison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bradain McCready showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard McAaron, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute Breffni Barrett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradain McCready saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fergus Morrison in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bradain McCready saved Cloonaquin from getting behind. Bradain McCready didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Carrigane's Breffni Barrett shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-8 in the ordered_time% minute. Bradain McCready took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard McAaron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Breffni Barrett could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Bradain McCready made a huge save. In the 91st minute, Coileán McNamee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bradain McCready made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breffni Barrett in the 95th minute of play. When Coileán McNamee fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cloonaquin's protests and gave Coileán McNamee a yellow card for diving instead. Coileán McNamee hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Bradain McCready showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard McAaron, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. When the final whistle sounded Carrigane left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cloonaquin.
