The tension between the Ballinrolla AFC and the Ballyneen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 30 minutes into the game, one of Ballinrolla AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Farrell McAaron had in the 31stth minute some difficulties stopping Bearnad Ferguson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ballinrolla AFC's Farrell McAaron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Ballinrolla AFC from getting a goal against them. Farrell McAaron made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Baiscend Dunne sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Ballyneen FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Baiscend Dunne hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Brennon Molloy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jack Harkin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After a rather tough play, Ballinrolla AFC's Brennon Molloy got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Bearnad Ferguson struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Farrell McAaron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballyneen FC. A hard shot 48 in the game by Alex Todd from a close distance when the talented Farrell McAaron managed to make a qualified save. Ballinrolla AFC's players were relieved. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bearnad Ferguson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bearnad Ferguson took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Farrell McAaron. Farrell McAaron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Bearnad Ferguson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Farrell McAaron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Farrell McAaron came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Ballyneen FC's Bearnad Ferguson. But to his dismay, Bearnad Ferguson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Bragan Morrison kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bearnad Ferguson in the 79th minute of play forced Ballinrolla AFC's goalkeeper Farrell McAaron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ballinrolla AFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Eoghan Cronin hit a great ball. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ballyneen FC fully deserved thier win.
