Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Raymond McLian took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 8th minute Salmon Walker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patton Callaghan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caolán Gough kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes, Poulnalour's Scot Sheridan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brannon Sheridan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Poulnalour reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shey McAaron in the 13th minute of play forced Coolroe's goalkeeper Brannon Sheridan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Raymond McLian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poulnalour's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raymond McLian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Curran Cassin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patton Callaghan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salmon Walker, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Coolroe were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Poulnalour's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Salmon Walker took the corner. After taking down the ball on Coolroe's corner Raymond McJohn fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Patton Callaghan quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Poulnalour's Berchan Dalton got a free kick in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Brigid McSteven was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poulnalour's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coolroe the free kick. After 43 played minutes Poulnalour got a freekick which was hit by Brigid McSteven. After a rather tough play, Coolroe's Salmon Walker got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Curran Cassin to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Poulnalour got a freekick which was hit by Brigid McSteven. Salmon Walker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Patton Callaghan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Coolroe getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Justin Matthews hit a great ball. When Salmon Walker was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. In the 73rd match minute, Coolroe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salmon Walker to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute Curran Cassin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patton Callaghan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th match minute, Poulnalour was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sean McBrandon to maneuver through the defense. Patton Callaghan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curran Cassin, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raymond McLian got free with Brannon Sheridan in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patton Callaghan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justin Matthews, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curran Cassin in the 92nd minute of play forced Poulnalour's goalkeeper Patton Callaghan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Coolroe's Beary Dempsey managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sean McBrandon in the 93 minute of the game.
