In the 9th minute, Abban Colwell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Bohannon Horgan managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Cait Dubh Athy's Finn McOliver fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Finn McOliver hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Flughany's goal looked a bit too open when Abban Colwell came free, but Bohannon Horgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Abban Colwell took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Bohannon Horgan to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Cait Dubh Athy's Abban Colwell slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bohannon Horgan. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. In the 37th minute, Abban Colwell reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bohannon Horgan. The goal made the score 3-0. Dillon McLiam kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Bohannon Horgan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abban Colwell went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Bohannon Horgan came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Cait Dubh Athy's Abban Colwell. But to his dismay, Abban Colwell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Abban Colwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bohannon Horgan having to interfere. Herich Lester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ionel Rogozea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bohannon Horgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Finn McOliver in the 74th minute of play. Finn McOliver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bohannon Horgan having to interfere. Cait Dubh Athy made a substitution. Conor McVictor replaced Ennis Benson. The audience was convinced that Abban Colwell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bohannon Horgan was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Ionel Rogozea was a little too slow when Herich Lester got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 5-1.
