Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Curran Cassin kicked off to start the match. Brann Benson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Curran Cassin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salmon Walker in the 13th minute of play forced Kells Utd's goalkeeper Brann Benson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brann Benson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curran Cassin, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Brannon Sheridan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Gollogley in the 32nd minute of play. Curran Cassin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brann Benson having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Desmond Tracy made the kick off in the second half. Salmon Walker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brann Benson having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Coolroe's zone, Berkeley Taylor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brannon Sheridan came out of the goal and Berkeley Taylor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Berkeley Taylor notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Coolroe's Brannon Sheridan. Brannon Sheridan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Coolroe's Gearalt Murphy got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 71 played minutes, Kells Utd's Ryley Matthews shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brannon Sheridan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kells Utd reached it. Brann Benson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Salmon Walker showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 75 minute of play. In the 78th minute, Raymond McJohn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Curran Cassin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brann Benson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kells Utd had played much better football throughout.
