An unexpectedly hard shot by Salmon Walker in the 8th minute of play forced Flughany's goalkeeper Bohannon Horgan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Curran Cassin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Flughany's Bohannon Horgan. Bohannon Horgan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 13 minutes into the match, Salmon Walker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bohannon Horgan. Flughany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salmon Walker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Bohannon Horgan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curran Cassin, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Flughany's Bohannon Horgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curran Cassin in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Coolroe booed when Flughany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breenan Caffey didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th match minute, Coolroe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salmon Walker to maneuver through the defense. Coolroe's Brannon Sheridan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herich Lester in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Flughany booed when Coolroe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Curran Cassin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blaine Gallagher took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Brannon Sheridan. Coolroe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bohannon Horgan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Curran Cassin's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Breenan Caffey in the 45th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Coolroe's Royan Doyle. The audience was convinced that Curran Cassin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bohannon Horgan was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Flughany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Salmon Walker was slow to take the kick. During this time Coolroe's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Curran Cassin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Flughany's Bohannon Horgan did a great save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Curran Cassin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Flughany's goal looked a bit too open when Curran Cassin came free, but Bohannon Horgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Flughany booed when Coolroe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gearalt Murphy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 played minutes Coolroe got a freekick which was hit by Justin Matthews. After a rather tough play, Coolroe's Royan Doyle got a free kick in the 70th minute. Brannon Sheridan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seosamh Willson, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Herich Lester struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Brannon Sheridan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flughany. After 75 minutes of play, Coolroe's Curran Cassin made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bohannon Horgan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Brannon Sheridan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herich Lester went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Bohannon Horgan was a little too slow when Curran Cassin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 1-6. A collision led to Flughany getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Cormac Keegan hit a great ball. Bohannon Horgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curran Cassin in the 89th minute of the match. With his leg Bohannon Horgan managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Coolroe's Justin Matthews fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
