Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Desmond Tracy started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kells Utd's goalkeeper Brann Benson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carnaghan's Beiti McTommy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berkeley Taylor in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Kells Utd's Denny McCready ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Beiti McTommy. Beiti McTommy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 27th minute, Harley McDonald ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brann Benson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Berkeley Taylor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Beiti McTommy made a huge save. In the 31st minute of the match, Desmond Tracy tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Beiti McTommy saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Donald Gallagher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Harley McDonald made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donald Gallagher got free with Brann Benson in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Harley McDonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brann Benson having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Carnaghan's goal looked a bit too open when Denny McCready came free, but Beiti McTommy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 played minutes Kells Utd got a freekick which was hit by Artur Gollogley. In the 75th minute, Artur Gollogley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harley McDonald in the 79th minute of play forced Kells Utd's goalkeeper Brann Benson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berkeley Taylor hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Caroll Moran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Carnaghan getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Harley McDonald hit a great ball. Beiti McTommy came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Kells Utd's Denny McCready. But to his dismay, Denny McCready quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Beiti McTommy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desmond Tracy in the 95th minute of play. After 97 played minutes Kells Utd got a freekick which was hit by Blaithmeic Gollogley. Kells Utd's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
