Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Harrington Dillon started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Begley Palmer hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Drimmo's Teris Mullan got control of the ball when Kieran Dalton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teris Mullan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kieran Dalton, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Patton Palmer charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patton Palmer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Teris Mullan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adamnan Crowe in the 28th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Adamnan Crowe rounded Drimmo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Begley Palmer kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Drimmo's Harley McDecland got a free kick in the 34th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Adamnan Crowe made the kick off in the second half. Bairne Todd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Teris Mullan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Harrington Dillon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 64 minutes, Harrington Dillon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drimmo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harrington Dillon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 65 played minutes Caher got a freekick which was hit by Aron Ryan. In the 71st minute of the match Harley McDecland sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reilly McSteven skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Caher's Bree Holt got a free kick in the 73rd minute. With his leg Reilly McSteven managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Drimmo's Harrington Dillon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Caher getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Triain McIan hit a great ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Caher were victorious despite being under pressure from Drimmo for much of the match.
