Corey Hutton kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Renny Tierney made a precise shot to the right of Keeghan McBrandon. Creeslough Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Corey Hutton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Berach Morrison read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blathma McSteve got free with Keeghan McBrandon in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Blathma McSteve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keeghan McBrandon having to interfere. In the 56th minute of the match, Blathma McSteve tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Keeghan McBrandon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 69th match minute, Creeslough Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corey Hutton to maneuver through the defense. Keeghan McBrandon came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Curhownagh's Alfred McDecland. But to his dismay, Alfred McDecland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Curhownagh's Alfred McDecland got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Keeghan McBrandon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfred McDecland in the 79th minute. Keeghan McBrandon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blathma McSteve in the 82nd minute of play. When Brenainn Martyn came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Curhownagh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brenainn Martyn couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Blathma McSteve's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keeghan McBrandon was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Keeghan McBrandon made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Alfred McDecland sent off a good shot on target. The Creeslough Utd fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Curhownagh were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
