In the 10th minute Keegan Silke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keeghan McBrandon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 13 minutes, Brogan Myler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derryfrench's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brogan Myler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute Logan Kelly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blake Taylor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis Ramsey's late challenge caught a Derryfrench's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dennis Ramsey helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Dennis Ramsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Derryfrench's Donavan Dillon shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 20th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Keeghan McBrandon but with some difficulty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Quinn Dimson during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Quinn Dimson kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Keeghan McBrandon made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Bearach Duggan sent off a good shot on target. With 27 minutes on the clock, Dennis Ramsey commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Creeslough Utd's Dennis Ramsey got a free kick in the 28th minute. Scothine Grant struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Keeghan McBrandon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Derryfrench. In the 37thth minute of the game Logan Kelly who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Derryfrench's Blake Taylor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brogan Myler in the 38th minute of play forced Creeslough Utd's goalkeeper Keeghan McBrandon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Logan Kelly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Logan Kelly came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Creeslough Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Logan Kelly couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Logan Kelly to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Derryfrench's Brogan Myler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keeghan McBrandon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Binne Beckett kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Keeghan McBrandon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bearach Duggan in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Derryfrench's Keegan Silke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keeghan McBrandon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Keeghan McBrandon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keegan Silke in the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, Brogan Myler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Keeghan McBrandon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Keeghan McBrandon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bearach Duggan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Creeslough Utd booed when Derryfrench was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Scothine Grant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Keeghan McBrandon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keegan Silke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Logan Kelly managed to get in a good position for a shot. Creeslough Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Logan Kelly was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blake Taylor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Keeghan McBrandon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keegan Silke, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bearach Duggan in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keeghan McBrandon saved Creeslough Utd from getting behind. Logan Kelly was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 91st minute. Creeslough Utd's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 92 played minutes, Creeslough Utd's Gaynor Jameson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Blake Taylor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Creeslough Utd reached it. There was no doubt that Derryfrench were the better team. Derryfrench's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
