Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alfred McDecland started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brenainn Martyn in the 5th minute of play forced Drimmo's goalkeeper Teris Mullan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Drimmo's goal looked a bit too open when Brenainn Martyn came free, but Teris Mullan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Drimmo defense, Blathma McSteve kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teris Mullan. The Drimmo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teris Mullan should have stopped the shot. Teris Mullan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blathma McSteve, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blathma McSteve in the 14th minute of play forced Drimmo's goalkeeper Teris Mullan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brenan Myler's late challenge caught a Drimmo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brenan Myler helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Drimmo booed when Curhownagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brenan Myler didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Brenan Myler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teris Mullan. Drimmo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brenan Myler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Alfred McDecland hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Curhownagh's Rowen Branson got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Branagain Barrett kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Drimmo's goal looked a bit too open when Brenan Myler came free, but Teris Mullan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harrington Dillon made a kick off. Teris Mullan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blathma McSteve, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Curhownagh's goal looked a bit too open when Harrington Dillon came free, but Berach Morrison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Blathma McSteve took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Teris Mullan to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Drimmo's Scot Moran got a free kick in the 68th minute. Teris Mullan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brenainn Martyn in the 76th minute of the match. Brenainn Martyn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Teris Mullan made a huge save. In the 92nd match minute, Curhownagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blathma McSteve to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Drimmo's goalkeeper Teris Mullan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brenainn Martyn. Curhownagh played a much better game than Drimmo and deserved their victory. The Drimmo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
