WEDKARZE's Patrick McPhil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save WEDKARZE from getting a goal against them. Segundo Ricart hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Alfred McDecland who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Patrick McPhil when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 10th minute Radomil Grondzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berach Morrison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. WEDKARZE's Patrick McPhil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save WEDKARZE from getting a goal against them. Curhownagh's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rowen Branson in the 14th minute. Donlevy Frankson's late challenge caught a Curhownagh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donlevy Frankson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to WEDKARZE getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Donlevy Frankson hit a great ball. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Curhownagh's goalkeeper Berach Morrison, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Berach Morrison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomil Grondzki in the 20th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Radomil Grondzki managed to get in a good position for a shot. WEDKARZE's supporters rose to their feet, but Radomil Grondzki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berach Morrison breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Radomil Grondzki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Berach Morrison having to make a save. Berach Morrison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomil Grondzki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Seoirse Johnson struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Berach Morrison didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WEDKARZE. WEDKARZE's Patrick McPhil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save WEDKARZE from getting a goal against them.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfred McDecland was the one to do the kick off. Donlevy Frankson kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When Alfred McDecland came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Curhownagh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfred McDecland couldn't finish the play. Berach Morrison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Grondzki, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Patrick McPhil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brenan Myler in the 73rd minute of play. Patrick McPhil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blathma McSteve's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Curhownagh's Berach Morrison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomil Grondzki in the 77th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as WEDKARZE's Seoirse Johnson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Berach Morrison. That made the score 0-1 after 81 minutes of play. Alfred McDecland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Segundo Ricart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Alfred McDecland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curhownagh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Patrick McPhil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brenan Myler went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The Curhownagh support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
