Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adamnan Crowe kicked off to start the match. Adamnan Crowe might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Scott Kelly. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adamnan Crowe ran back to his position shaking his head. Reilly McSteven made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salmon Gollogley in the 11th minute. After some careless play in the Dookinelly defense, Bairne Todd kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Scott Kelly. The Dookinelly fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Scott Kelly should have stopped the shot. Aron Ryan hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the game, Dookinelly's Salmon Gollogley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reilly McSteven made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Reilly McSteven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur McVictor in the 25th minute of play. After 25 played minutes Caher got a freekick which was hit by Aron Ryan. Scott Kelly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adamnan Crowe in the 32nd minute of play. Adamnan Crowe took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Scott Kelly. Scott Kelly dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 37th match minute, Dookinelly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Biddy Rutherford to maneuver through the defense. Adamnan Crowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aron Ryan fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caher's protests and gave Aron Ryan a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Caher got a freekick which was hit by Aron Ryan. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Artur McVictor to strike the kick off in the second half. Adamnan Crowe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Scott Kelly came out and tried to block the shot, but Adamnan Crowe slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 51st minute. Aron Ryan hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Bree Holt charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bree Holt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adamnan Crowe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Scott Kelly read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Troy McCready during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Troy McCready hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Scott Kelly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adamnan Crowe in the 62nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adamnan Crowe in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Scott Kelly saved Dookinelly from getting behind. 65 minutes into the game, Artur McVictor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dookinelly's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caher the free kick. In the 65th minute, Artur McVictor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Dookinelly booed when Caher was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patton Palmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Caher's goal looked a bit too open when Troy McCready came free, but Reilly McSteven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reilly McSteven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Troy McCready, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Caher's goal looked a bit too open when Comhghall McBrandon came free, but Reilly McSteven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Artur McVictor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reilly McSteven was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Adamnan Crowe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Scott Kelly. That made the score 2-4 in the 82 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Caher's Triain McIan got a free kick in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur McVictor in the 89th minute of play forced Caher's goalkeeper Reilly McSteven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Scott Kelly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adamnan Crowe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Scott Kelly made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kieran Dalton in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute Booak Ryan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reilly McSteven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Caher supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Caher would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
