Berach Morrison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrew McBrandon, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Carson McJohnny had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Berach Morrison. Curhownagh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carson McJohnny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Curhownagh's Berach Morrison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew McBrandon in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brenan Myler in the 20th minute of play forced Clooncoose's goalkeeper Earnán Savic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes of play, Clooncoose's Andrew McBrandon made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Berach Morrison was left in no man's land by his defense there! Andrew McBrandon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Berach Morrison read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Andrew McBrandon made a precise shot to the right of Berach Morrison. Curhownagh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brenan Myler in the 39th minute of play forced Clooncoose's goalkeeper Earnán Savic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 minutes of play, Clooncoose's Andrew McBrandon made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Berach Morrison was left in no man's land by his defense there! Irwin Tracy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfred McDecland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Andrew McBrandon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Earnán Savic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred McDecland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrew McBrandon got free with Berach Morrison in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Clooncoose booed when Curhownagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renny Tierney didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Clooncoose getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Irwin Tracy hit a great ball. After 82 played minutes Clooncoose got a freekick which was hit by Carson McJohnny. Irwin Tracy kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Berach Morrison made an important save on a dangerous shot by Briony Hutton in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute, Briony Hutton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Earnán Savic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred McDecland, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The Curhownagh supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Clooncoose's performance. The match ended with a win for Clooncoose.
